Hiking in Verano: Our farm joins directly the labelled hiking trail. This allows for numerous hikes and biking trips on the sunny monzoccolo. You will see a picturesque landscape with broad meadows, forest and chelts. There are also possibilities for biking tours.
Spring, summer, autumn or winter – all seasons are attractive.

- Guided hike from our farm to the location “Stoanerne Mandln”
- Merano 2000 – area for hiking and skiing, with the attraction of the alpine summer luge run (ca. 18 Km, open from 9-17 o’clock)
- Lake “Kratzberg” at Merano 2000
- Biking tour for the whole family to Avelengo
- The nature attraction “Knottnkino”, which is a cinema place on a hill in Verano (ca. 7 Km)
- Short and easy hike to the Leadneralm
- Visit the gardens of Trauttmansdorf (ca. 25 Km, open from 9-19 o’clock)
- You can visit castle Tirolo with a raptor station (open from 10-17 o’clock)
- Shopping in Merano (ca. 25 Km)
- Thermal swimming in Merano at the “Therme”(open from 9-22 o’clock), or swimming at natural lakes
- Snowshoeing or ski touring
- Traditional Christmas markets in Merano and Bolzano are a highlight in winter (open from 10-22 o’clock)
